Living Lab: active research network on thousands of hectares
Discovery LL has been an operational living lab since 2019 with an established network of stakeholders, including a group of active end users. Our activities and connections are well established nationwide, we are financially independent and we have access to manage thousands of hectares for our real-life experiments across Hungary that had significant impacts in the past 3 years since operations have begun. Host-staff members are qualified and experienced in their respective fields and are motivated in keeping our stakeholders active in the process of unravelling possible improvements for more resilient agricultural
practices as extremities increase.
The main goal of our living lab is to become a leading research network and location for sustainable soil management and precision agriculture, in which the main environmental conditions of the Carpathian basin are covered. The LL aims to engage users of different stakeholder groups through its inclusive operation to users, research ideas, and maintaining credibility through the well-defined and documented methods and activities.
